This is our 2 Days Lake Nakuru Tour Safari takes you to the beautiful Lake Nakuru National Park which lies On the floor of the Great Rift Valley, surrounded by wooded and bushy grassland. You will enjoy the wide ecological diversity and varied habitats that range from Lake Nakuru itself to the surrounding escarpment and picturesque ridges. Lake Nakuru National Park is ideal for bird watching, hiking, picnic and game drives.
Lake Nakuru National Park is an important stronghold for the rare Rothschild's giraffe. It was introduced to the park in the 1980s and has now become locally common.
Aside from the widespread velvet monkey and olive baboon, the beautiful black-and-white colobus monkey can sometimes be found in the acacia forest. A highlight, if you’re lucky enough, is the tree-climbing lions – Lake Nakuru National Park is the best place in Kenya to see them.
Tour Itinerary & Activities
Day 1
Leave Nairobi City for Nakuru
Erideka Safaris Kenya tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in the early morning after breakfast. On your way to Nakuru town, you will get to see the scene of the famous great rift valley where you will have a stopover for about 20 minutes for you to take a photo of the scenic view. Also, as you pass through Naivasha town midway from Nairobi to Lake Nakuru National Park. You will normally drive for 3 hrs. from Nairobi to Nakuru. Upon arrival, you enjoy a game drive while entering the park on your way to a lodge for lunch. After having your lunch and relaxing you will do afternoon game drives. Later you drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 2
Leave Nakuru for Nairobi
You start with an early morning game drive before getting back to your lodge for breakfast. After breakfast, you get more game drives till late Afternoon. In this Park, you will have time to view huge animals like Rhinos, Elephants, Lions, Hippos, and flocks of flamingo birds around the lake. Lunch is provided during midday. Later you drive to your hotel in Nairobi.
