Terms and Conditions
The following terms and conditions apply to all bookings made through Erideka Safaris Kenya.
A deposit of 40% of the total safari cost (Kenya-only safari tours) is required at the time of booking confirmation. The balance is payable at or before the safari starts.
A deposit of 50% of the total safari cost for (Kenya / Tanzania combined tours) is required at the time of booking confirmation. The balance is payable at or before the safari starts.
You may also choose to pay a full safari amount at booking confirmation if you prefer.

- You may also pay online or locally by credit/debit card at no extra cost-Visa/Mastercard/Amex accepted
- If you decide to make payments by bank/wire transfer you are required to include bank charges incurred on the transaction
CAUTION!
Please note that our company bank accounts are located in KENYA only. Erideka Safaris Kenya does not own bank accounts in any other City/Country outside Kenya.
Safari Tour Cancellation Charges:
Erideka Safaris Kenya Safaris booking/cancellation conditions are determined by the fact that once a hotel, Safari lodge/ camps, local domestic airlines or services are booked on your behalf, we shall incur a cancellation fee if we are required to cancel the booking. We try to keep such cancellation charges to a minimum and they apply as follows calculated as a percentage of the total price:
Safari & Accommodation invoice cancellation charges for both Kenya & Tanzania Safaris.
- Cancellation up to 60 days before commencement of the safari: Zero cancellation charges.
- Cancellation up to 35 days before commencement of the safari: 20% cancellation charges
- Cancellation up to 15 days before commencement of the safari: 40% cancellation charges
- Cancellation less than 15 days or more than 3 days before the safari starts: 60% cancellation charges
- Cancellation 3 days or less before the commencement of safari – Zero refund, 100% cancellation charges apply.
Note: Refunds due to you in the event of safari cancellation can only be credited to the original credit/debit card used in making of initial payment, if within 6 months of paying. If the period is longer than 6 months refunds will be made directly to the traveller’s bank account.
For International Safaris, any safari deposit paid shall be refunded less the cost of cancellation fees levied by hotels and administrative costs as below.

Refunds will be done within 30 days after the cancellation of the safari.
Safari price
Included are all expenses in respect of safari vehicle, driver-guide as per itinerary, meals while on safari, accommodation, and entrance fees to National parks and game reserves.
Safari transport
Tour cars, pop-up top Safari minivans, and pop-up top 4×4 Land Cruiser Jeeps will be provided depending on the tour program/itinerary and the number of tour participants. The company reserves the right to employ the services of the same standard sub-contractors.
English, German, French, Italian & Spanish driver guides are provided.
Safari accommodation
Based on two persons sharing a twin room/tent. Single rooms are provided at an additional cost (single room supplement). Hotel /lodges / tented camps are named as an indication of category and accommodation may be reserved at the same standard hotels/lodges /tented camps. In this case, you shall be notified of your safari accommodation in advance.
Alteration to tours
The company reserves the right to alter arrangements or cancel the operation of a scheduled tour should conditions necessitate.
It also reserves the right to decline to accept or retain any person as a member of any tour at any time, in which case an equitable amount will be refunded.
Price is based on tariffs and other operational costs prevailing at the time of printing.
Liability
The company and its agents act only as agents of the tours, transport, etc. and shall not be liable for injury, delays, loss, or damage in any manner.
The company’s liability to passengers carried in its vehicle is governed by the laws of the country in which the tour takes place and no other country.
All claims are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the country in which the actions arise.
The company reserves the right to employ subcontractors for all or part of the services.
The company shall not be held responsible for any loss or damages to luggage.
Issues/Complaints on Safari
Any complaints that may arise during safari travel should be communicated immediately or as it happens, to your tour manager (in writing via email/WhatsApp) for on-site attention, verification, and immediate correction
A summary of the complaints (in case not addressed on-site) shall be communicated to the company in writing within 15 days of completion of the Safari tour for necessary action
The complaints/issues raised shall be investigated and addressed within 30 days of formal complaint/issue receipt
Behaviour
You are expected to act within the confines of the law and consider your fellow travellers. If you behave in such a way as to endanger our staff or other passengers or cause property damage, we reserve the right to terminate your safari without further liability.
Expectations
We will discuss your expectations with you in the process of booking and conducting your safari and will strive to meet them as far as is realistically possible, but we make no guarantees about expected weather, game viewing or animal sightings, exact travel times, or any other unpredictable factors that may affect your expectations or safari experience. We are proud of our excellent reputation and will do our best to offer you the best possible experience.
